Over nearly two decades, he has worked across the public and private sectors and supported governments in more than 30 countries, with particular experience in Presidents’ and Prime Ministers’ Offices, strategy and policy development, delivery units and other institutions at the centre of government.
He was previously a Senior Adviser at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change working across MENA and Asia and Head of the Middle East and South Asia at Delivery Associates, where he worked with governments on translating political priorities into measurable results, strengthening government institutions and building delivery systems.
Today, much of Sameer’s work focuses on how AI and technology are reshaping government, from strategy and policymaking to leaders’ offices, public services, institutional design and the machinery of government itself. His work brings together AI and technology with the less visible foundations of transformation: leadership, policy, data, operating models, processes, incentives and institutional capability.
Earlier in his career, Sameer worked at Bain & Company, JPMorgan and BMO, and later held senior strategy, finance and Chief of Staff roles in the Silicon Valley startup, Trove.
He holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a BSBA from Georgetown University. Sameer is also a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ontario.
